Miss Brear spoke to the children in assembly last Thursday about Readathon and World Book Day. This Thursday, children and teachers have chosen a particular author and will be dressing up as characters from this author’s chosen book.
Readathon runs from 27th February to 13th March, with children collecting sponsorship money for children’s charities. On the 13th, children should bring in their money and sponsor cards, with the highest fundraiser in Foundation/Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 winning a book at the Book Fair.
