Thank you for all voting on which Charity that you would like us to support as a school this year.

We are pleased to announce that this year we will be supporting Refugee Action which is an independent charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers to resettle and build new lives in the UK.

At our next School Council meeting we will be discussing fund raising ideas that we can do in school. If you have any ideas of suggestions please let your School Council representative know.

Thank you for all your votes we will announce the charity that we will be supporting next week.

Here are the issues that have come from Class Councils that we will be talking to Mr Rapps about.

  • There are broken blinds in year 1 and 2 and the light is getting in our eyes.
  • Lunchtime wrist bands are too small can we have bigger ones?
  • Can children bring their own juice in bottles?
  • Can we have an after school table tennis club?
  • The soap in the upstairs girl’s toilet does not work.
  • The hot taps are too hot in the new toilets.
  • The toilet doors are too small and children are being silly.
  • The laptops are slow can we have new ones?
  • Children are littering in the playground.
  • Children are sliding down the hand rails on the stairs in the new building.

Our first School Council meeting will be on Friday the 25th September at 2.30pm.

Following on from Mrs May's assembly on Manar's story , we will be asking you to vote in class councils on which charity you would like us to support as a whole school.
