Forest School

At Earl Spencer, we run a Forest School every Wednesday afternoon in our grounds.  The children have an opportunity to build dens, light fires, roast marshmallows and cook on the fire, do outdoor crafts, play games and create bug hotels to name a few activities.  This time outdoors helps to build children's self-esteem and confidence.  It also enables supported risk-taking, child-centred learning and exploration of our natural world.
