Year 1 Chestnut - Mrs Eaves & Mrs West
We hope you all had a lovely holiday and you are ready to be back in school and back to learning.
Your teachers are Miss Clarke (Monday to Thursday) and Mrs West will teach you on a Friday. Mrs Cowdell will be our teaching assistant we also have Miss Hughes in our class. We look forward to our new learning journey together.
Important Information
PE will be on a Thursday afternoon. Please send your child to school in their uniform and their PE kit in a bag. Please make sure all clothes are named.
Library Books
We will go to the library on a Monday, please ensure you bring your book back on a Monday so that you can change it.
Homework
The children will have homework to complete weekly.
You will get a reading book to read at home but they need to bring in back to school EVERYDAY!
Maths homework will be handed out on a Friday and needs to be returned every Thursday
Spellings will be sent along with the maths homework, please practice these as they are words that have the sounds we have learnt in phonics or are tricky or common exception words which we need to know how to spell.
