Term 3 - Pharaohs
This term we are learning all about the Pharaohs and Ancient Egypt, using our class text Secrets of a Sun King by Emma Carroll.
The Secrets of a Sun King is about the adventure of three young children and the curse of Tutankhamun.
This term we will be finding out about life in Ancient Egypt including the discovery of the Tutankhamun's tomb, the importance of the River Nile, Egyptian inventions, and the significance of gods and goddesses.
We will also be writing for a range of different purposes based around Secrets of a Sun King. We will be writing letters, a newspaper report, diary entries, instructions and a narrative piece.
