Year 1 Chestnut - Mrs Williams

 

 

This year your teacher is Mrs Williams. Your teaching assistants are Mrs Lack and Mrs Hancon.

 

 

 

PE will be on a Wednesday afternoon. Please send your child to school in their uniform with their PE kit in a bag. Please make sure all clothes are named. 

 

 

 

We will go to the library on a Monday.  Please ensure you bring your book back on a Monday so that you can change it.

 

Your son/ daughter will also be given a reading book 📚 each week (one that is matched to their reading ability). Please keep this book in your child’s school bag so that it can be used in school as well as at home and changed for a new one towards the end of the week.  It is SO important that you positively share books with your child.

 

Homework is is now being given weekly.

 

If reading/ homework becomes a challenge at home...please ask for some guidance, as we are more than happy to advise.
