Let's Celebrate!

 

 

Our topic this term is all about celebrations! We will be exploring Bonfire night, along with Diwali and Christmas. We will be continuing our learning of Phase 2 sounds and beginning to segment and blend to read and write simple cvc words.

Our number of the week this week is 4!

 

 We are very excited about this term!

It is lovely to see everyone again! smiley We have missed having you all in school and are really excited to being our new topic.

 

This week we have been learning about fireworks and bonfire night. We have created firework patterns using chalk, writing about bonfire night and making fireworks using stickle bricks. We have also been learning about the number 3 and have enjoyed using our new bakery role play area.

 

 

This week we have been learning all about Diwali!

 

We have talked about who celebrates Diwali and all the specials ways that they celebrate. We have also listened to some lovely new stories about Diwali.
