Spring 2 - Wriggle and Crawl!
We hope you have had a lovely week off and are ready to get stuck in to all the fantastic things we have planned for this topic!
Our topic this half term is 'Wriggle and Crawl'. During this topic we will be looking at the life cycles of different mini-beasts, writing explanation texts and researching into habitats.
Our computing topic this half term is 'Computer Art'. For our first lesson we explored the concept of pixel pointillism and the app doodle buddy. We started to explore by recreating a pointillism piece of art work!
After learning about pointillism in computing last week, this week we were learning about the artwork of Mondrian. We were using the app 'paint' on Microsoft to recreate his artwork using straight black lines, and filling the shapes with primary colours. Have a look at the artwork we made!
