Our Topic for this term is Tomorrow's World!
Topic:
So far this term, we have been learning all about key figures in the history of computing. We created a timeline of important events, then researched and created posters about a variety of key figures, including Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace.
English:
In English, Lime have been focusing on the video 'Road's End' (you can watch it using this link: https://vimeo.com/24445749).
The children have written character descriptions for the different characters, as well as recounting the events of the video from different character's points of view.
In the second week, we had great fun planning, writing and performing our own news reports.
Maths:
It has been a very busy start to our term in maths.
So far we have continued working on our maths reasoning, and getting to grips with ratio and scaling.
