Autumn 2: Bright Lights Big City
Hello Hazel Class!
We hope you are all feeling refreshed after the holidays!
I am so excited to be teaching you all about London this half term.
We have a very exciting first day back to school planned to kick start our new topic! We are going to be having a special visit from the King! We will then be writing a recount of our Royal day in our English lessons. We will also be reading a new story called 'Katie in London' and we will be story writing.
In Maths lessons we will be looking at addition and subtraction and shape.
In Science lessons we will be learning about the different seasons and the changes that happen in each season.
We have a very exciting half term planned!
We had a very exciting visitor yesterday in Hazel class! The King came to our tea party! Before he arrived we had lots to prepare. We learnt how to bow and curtsy, we sang the national anthem and we even learnt a new dance to perform to the King. It was a very fun day! Over the next few weeks we will be writing a recount of our day in our English lessons.
