Year 1 Chestnut - Miss Faulkner

              Welcome to Chestnut Class!

Wow! What an amazing start to Year One!

It has been so lovely to meet and get to know the children in Chestnut Class. 

 

The adults working in Chestnut Class are Miss Faulkner, Mrs McGuiness, Mrs Lack, Mrs Hussein and Miss Palmer.

 

Important information for you:  

PE: Our PE day is on a Friday and the children need to come into school dressed in their PE uniform, they will stay in their PE uniform all day so there is no need for their school uniform to come in too. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather as we will be outside as much as possible.

 

Homework: Due to COVID19 restrictions we will not be able to send home paper homework. All home work and reading will be set online on a Friday. You will be given login details for your child.

Oxford Owl  - https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ - this is where you child will have their reading books set to their individual level of reading. Please read three times per week.  

Spelling Shed - https://www.spellingshed.com/ - This is where your child will access their spellings for the week. Children need to practise their spellings through the games.

Abacus - https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login - this is where your child's maths homework will be set.
