Term 2- The Enchanted Woodland

The Enchanted Woodland

Our topic this term is the Enchanted Woodland. We will be writing a magical fairy setting description before creating our own fairy gardens and then writing the instructions on how they were made. Towards the end of the term we will be doing some work on the well know Gruffalo story.

In maths we start with learning about doubles and halves up to 10. We will then look at weight and the language associated with weight before finishing with multiplication and money.

Topic is very exciting as we will be creating our own fairy gardens, looking at the art work of Andy Goldsworthy and aerial images of the local area.

Science we will be learning about plants and trees and how they can be classified.
