Frozen Kingdom
Our new topic for this term is Frozen Kingdom. Welcome to the planet’s coldest lands. Vast wilds and hostile territories; incredibly beautiful, yet often deadly. We will study these magnificent mammals who roam these lands, sometimes hungry or fresh for a fight. Perhaps a hungry polar bear or an Arctic fox is hunting rodents, as swift as the wind. Research facts and figures of climate, temperature, habitats and ecosystems, Become part of an Antarctic explorers we learn about the Inuits, their culture and their art.
Our PE will be on a Monday afternoon, please remember to bring your swimming kit. The children need to complete 6 reading logs a week, their spellings will be given on a Thursday and then tested the following Thursday. Homework is given out on a Thursday to be handed in for the following Thursday.
We had an awesome day with the Polar Explorer! We heard some amazing stories about his adventures and learned lots of interesting facts.
