Term 2- The Enchanted Woodland
The children were set some homework during the half term, to create something that links to our new topic, Enchanted Woodland.

In Maths we have been looking at sharing and introducing the division sign. The children had a go at practically sharing amounts between people.
We have been looking at instructions in our writing lessons. The children made some chocolate chip cookies because next week we are going to write our own set of instructions to tell you how to make the cookies.
The children had lots of fun helping to make the cookies!
If you ask them, they might be able to tell you the verbs they thought of whilst making them.
In our Topic lesson we looked at the artist Andy Goldsworthy. We looked at his different pieces of art and learnt that he creates sculptures using natural resources.
We had a go at making our own images. Take a look!
The children have been learning to tell the time this week. They have been able to tell the time at o’clock.
