Term 2: Predators

We entered Mr Willy Wonka's chocolate factory today! Unfortunately all of the machines in his factory stopped working. He had lots of chocolate bars that needed packaging in time for Christmas. As his favourite Oompa loompas, we helped him come up with solutions using our calculation skills!

Today we sorted 2D shapes in to a venn diagram. We thought about the number of sides, corners and whether they were regular or irregular shapes.

In science we are currently looking at different types of skeleton.

For our Parent session we put together a human skeleton and labelled the different parts.

Today we had a morning art session with Carole. We studied the artist Henri Rousseau (1844-1910)

Here are some pictures he painted.

What animals can you see?

Benefits of sport stacking:

  • Promotes team building
  • Improves hand-eye coordination and accuracy
  • Trains space management
  • Trains quickness/reflexes

    .. and it's great FUN!

                       It's ANTI-BULLYING week!

We considered a helping hand during parent morning today.

We dressed up as super heroes to show our support!

To all who are celebrating, happy Diwali

We are learning about food chains in science.

Welcome back.
We hope everyone had a lovely week off and ready to start our new topic.
This term our topic is called Predators!
