Term 2
This term we will be learning about The Solar System including: The Moon, planets and significant individuals such as Isaac Newton and Laika - the first animal to orbit the Earth.
We will be creating a video animation about space and aliens so if you have any small action figures which you could use, then please bring them in and keep them in your tray.
Our latest science lesson saw us investigating air resistance and how it works against gravity...
In RE this week we have been making Diva's out of clay to celebrate the Sikh festival of Diwali.
UK Parliament Week
We had a brilliant discussion in class about the fight for women's suffrage and the amazing people who fought for equal rights for women.
The class researched how difficult it was to persuade people to sign one of the many petitions that were to be put forward to parliament to give women the vote.
We then wrote a persuasive letter to a fictional acquaintance to convince our friend that they simply had to sign the petition,
Well done for such fantastic enthusiasm on this subject from the whole class. Your letters are excellent!
