HAPPY PANCAKE DAY!
We loved having a go at flipping some pancakes and enjoyed eating them even more!
This week we were very lucky and had The Happy Puzzle Company in school. We really enjoyed having a go at some of the puzzles and challenges that they set us!
Carbon Monoxide Safety
This week we also had a visit from Safety Seymour to teach us all about Carbon Monoxide (or its scientific name which is CO). None of us had heard of it before and we were amazed to learn that you can't see it, hear it, smell it, taste it or feel it! We learned about the importance of having a Carbon Monoxide detector, how to test it and what to do if the alarm goes off. Each of us will get the chance to take Safety Seymour home to help us do some different activities about CO. For more information about CO please talk to a member of Cherry Class as they are now experts!
This week we were extremely lucky and had a visit from Craig at Bugtopia! He brought in 4 interesting mini beasts that we got to learn lots about and even hold! He taught us lots of interesting facts about each animal so we are going to be writing a fact file about them this week. Ask any member of Cherry class for an interesting fact! Here are some pictures of us holding them - we were very brave!
