Spring Term

Our topic this term is 'Starry Night'.

We were very lucky to have snow on our first day back after the new year!
For Muddy Monday, we went outside to create some leaf art - we made a face, shapes, a house and even a snake! We loved blowing bubbles outside. In forest school we had great fun filling the wheelbarrow with bark and spreading it on the floor. Some of us had a go at making potions and using the hammock!
In RE we have been talking about belonging to our families, school and community. Today we drew maps of our local community.
The Big Birdwatch 2026 - we made bird feeders and binoculars and looked for different types of birds!
Numbers Day for NSPCC
Muddy Monday - painting with mud, nature bracelets and parachute games!
We turned our role play area into a disco!
Children's Mental Health Week

We started the week with some mindfulness colouring and yoga.

Spring 2 - Traditional Tales

We have started our new term with 'Little Red', a story based on the traditional tale Little Red Riding Hood. We explored objects linked to the story and turned our role play area into a cottage.
Muddy Mondays - getting plants ready for sale, more nature bracelets and fun in forest school!

Learning about Holi!
World Book Day!
The chicks came to EYFS!

Science Week!

We started science week with the skittles experiment...

Story Sticks based on 'Little Red'.
