Earl Spencer Primary School coffee mornings are up and running!
We will be hosting Coffee mornings twice a month, with each coffee morning including ways to really help support your child's learning at school, parenting advice and support and information about a wide range of things from safety to mindfulness and more!
We have lots of fun and interesting ideas already organised for future coffee mornings including some guest speakers. If you have any skills, ideas or anything you would like to share then please let Mrs Jo James or Mrs Leanne Russell know and we would love you to get you involved.

7th November 2018 - Healthy Eating
Thank you to everyone that came along to this weeks 'Healthy Eating Coffee morning'. We all had great fun playing games, including a quick game of Bingo and we were all shocked when we played the 'are you sugar savvy game'....definitely gave us something to think about!! We hope you little ones enjoyed tasting our delicious hidden vegetable sauce, for those of you that didn't make it have a look below at the recipe we all tried and some of the shocking facts we learnt about sugar content!

Wednesday January 16th - Chloe Walters, healthy lifestyle advisor
Thankyou to everyone that came along to our ‘Healthy coffee morning’ last week. Parents were able to meet with Chloe Walters our healthy living advisor and get tips and hints on how to stay healthy! Lots of you took the opportunity to sign up for our FREE healthy eating cooking lessons starting after the February half term (details below) We still have a few places available so please let us know if you would like to sign up or would like more information.

Thankyou to everyone that came along to last terms Coffee morning. It was a great opportunity to find out what courses we can offer in school and what the parents of our school would like to see! We have already secured a 123 Magic parenting and behaviour management course which is due to start next Tuesday 11th June and are hoping to run a first aid course next term, keep you eyes out for information on what courses are coming up in school.
Our next coffee morning will be held during healthy eating week on Thursday 13th June at 9am. We will be planting vegetable and herbs for you to take home.
We will also be tasting a healthy breakfast prepared by Jo and Leanne and will have the ingredients for you to make your own.

Thursday 13th June-Healthy Eating Coffee Morning
Thankyou to everyone that came along to the healthy eating coffee morning this week. We enjoyed tasting some delicious over night oats, a healthy breakfast option.
We also had the chance to plant a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs for you to take home and grow with your little ones.....we look forward to tasting what you have grown ;)
Our next Coffee morning will take place on Thursday 11th July at 9am, weather permitting we will be having our coffee morning outside in the sunshine and will have the school orchestra playing for us! It would be great if you could come along to support them!!
In September we will be hosting 'our biggest ever Macmillan Coffee morning' please keep a look out for information and dates!!!
