What a lovely summery start to the Summer term! Fingers crossed that this lovely weather continues!
Willow class have enjoyed getting their teeth into our new topic, The Blue Abyss. We have been looking at different aspects of the ocean. In English, we have been focusing on the Great Barrier Reef (the children have researched lots of information on this - ask them what they know). We have been thinking about whether tourism to the reef is a good thing. Check out the pictures of our class debate on our 'Class photos' page.
In topic, we have been learning about the different zones of the ocean and starting to discover the different creatures that live in the different zones. We will be looking at this in more detail (particularly the animals that live in the midnight zone) over the next few weeks.
Look out for the letter that came home on Friday about our school trip to the Sea Life Centre on May 9th.
DON'T FORGET it is swimming on Monday!!!
