Welcome back!
This term we will be exploring a variety of Traditional Tales along with looking at different celebrations from Bonfire Night to Diwali and Christmas!
"I'LL HUFF AND I'LL PUFF AND I'LL BLOW YOUR HOUSE DOWN!"
The first traditional tale we have explored is the story of The Three Little Pigs. The children have been busy creating story maps and even beginning to innovate their own story!
Can you retell the story to your families using our new actions? :)
We have been very busy this week!
THIS WEEK THE NAUGHTY GOLDILOCKS STOLE MISS DINES' PORRIDGE!
We looked high and low in our classroom for any evidence of Goldilocks but she could not be found. Sadly, Miss Dines looked at some video footage of Goldilocks creeping into our classroom and eating her breakfast- How sad!
We have spent the week writing our wanted posters and sticking them around our classroom in case anyone has seen Goldilocks!
Mini Me Measuring!
This week in Maths we have been exploring measuring!
We have used some super mathematical language when talking about height and length. We also used a variety of different ways to measure, from measuring with rulers to non-standard measurements such as blocks!
After Goldilocks took Miss Dines' porridge from her desk last week, Olivia was kind enough to bring some new porridge from home! Thank you Olivia!
