Year 1 had the most amazing day out at the beach!

Our trip was part of our transition to Year 2 when we will be learning about the topic 'Coastline'. 

We were able to visit the local lifeboat station where we got to see the hovercraft and the tractor - the volunteers even let us sit on it! We had been fundraising for the RNLI and were able to give our donations to them on the day - they were very grateful!

We also got to make sandcastles on the beach, play beach games, collect shells, paddle in the sea and we even got an ice cream!

It really was a brilliant day.
