We have spent the last few weeks exploring our new classrooms and getting to know each other! It has been great to see the children settling into school life. Here are some snapshots of what we have been up to...

 

We dressed up in yellow for World Mental Health Day.

Exploring pumpkins! We opened up the pumpkins to look inside and then we made pumpkin soup!

 

Learning about Diwali - we tried onion bhajis and poppadoms, learnt how to wear a sari and did a Diwali dance!

 

Autumn 2

We have been reading The Gigantic Turnip. We chopped up some vegetables and made our own vegetable soup. We had a vote on whether we liked the soup or not!

 

Remembrance Day - We watched the CBeebies video about remembrance day and listened to 'The Last Post'.

We love our weekly Muddy Monday sessions. Here we are having a great time in Forest School...
