On Monday 24th April we had a visitor come into school to talk to us all about dinosaur fossils. The children were palaeontologists for the day and had the opportunity tto look at the fossils and use paintbrushes to brush off the sand so they were able to identify what dinosaur they were from. They then had to use the booklets provided to find out information about each one.
The children had a go at making their own fossils.
The chicks came to visit our class.
Every Friday our lovely TA's in year 1, Mrs West and Mrs Cook, have been taking a few children out to our allotment to plant some vegetables. They have planted carrots, broad beans, radishes, potatoes, beetroot, runner beans and sugar snap peas.
