Happy New Year

 

We hope you all had a fantastic christmas and are ready for the new term.

 

This term our topic will be Moon Zoom. We will be learning about space and the planets and in science we will be learning about different materials and their properties. In our maths lessons we will continue to look at addition and subtraction, money, capacity and weight and length. We will be looking at punctuation in English and thinking about what we need at the end of a sentence, towards the end of the term

we will be writing our own space stories.

We arrived at school to discover that a spaceship had crashed into our climbing frame over the weekend, The police were far to busy to come and investigate so we wrote our own incident reports.

We enjoyed giving each other a massage as part of our wellbeing day.

During our PSHE lesson we were discussing what bullying is and saying nasty words. We emptied a tube of toothpaste by saying nasty things and then tried to get it back in the tube. We have learnt that once you say nasty words you can’t take the, back, we couldn’t get the toothpaste back in the tube.
