‘Worry Doll’ competition winners 

 

Well done to all who entered the worry doll competition, they were all fantastic!

 

The winners have all been given a £5 book voucher to spend at our school book fair on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th November.

Key Stage one competition - 5th November 2018 Needs to be in to Miss Blunt by Thursday 8th November 

 

During this week, your teacher will share the story of Silly Billy, by Anthony Browne.

” Billy is a bit of a worrier.  He worries about hats and shoes. Most of all he worries about staying at other people’s houses.  His mum and dad try to help, but still Billy worries, until a visit to his gramdma’s shows him how to overcome his fears”

 

Can you design a ‘worry doll’ to stop Silly Billy’s worry dolls from worrying?

 

There will be a winner from each class, each winning a £5 voucher to spend at the book fair

Don't forget our Scholastic's books fair which will be in the school hall on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 8th March @ 3.10 pm.
World book day will be on Thursday 1st of March this year. What book character will you come dressed as?

Key Stage Two: Can you write your own Don't poem?

This needs to be in to Miss Brear by Wednesday 6th December.

KS2- Can you create you own How to train your dragon profile card?

These need to be handed to Miss Brear by Tuesday 14th November.

There will be one winner from each class will win the book and one overall winner from each year group will win a £5 voucher to spend at the book fair.
