At Earl Spencer Primary we safely recruit and we ensure that the staff we appoint to the school are suitable. Our recruitment procedures are rigorous and we follow the statutory guidance published in part 3 of Keeping Children Safe in Education (2018). Vetting and barring checks are undertaken on relevant people, including governors and volunteers.

Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher

1 Year FT contract- afternoons only (pro-rata)

We are looking for a fantastic and flexible Upper KS2 class teacher to join our team, from September 2019. The successful candidate will work alongside an experience and supportive member of staff across the school week. Our school is a welcoming and friendly environment, filled with very well behaved, positive children. The successful candidate will benefit from the established programme of high quality support which is in place for all of our teachers and school leaders and the support of our fantastic staff. 

Our last Ofsted visit confirmed that we are a ‘Good’ school. Our latest report is available in the Community Section of our website.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice, and expects its entire staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for short-listed applicants prior to interview. All candidates will be requested to disclose their circumstances in line with Disqualification by Association legislation. The successful applicant will also be expected to undertake a medical questionnaire.
